Technically, Ernie is not staff – he is a contractor who cares for the building. He started working at the school when we were still located in Ipswich; after all these years, he is considered an “honorary” staff member! Ernie is responsible for the daily and seasonal cleaning of the building; over the summers, he does many projects such as painting rooms and shampooing carpets that keep our building looking so very attractive.

Over his long career, Ernie served in the U.S. Air Force for six years and was a custodian in several school districts before coming to Stoneridge. He lives in Gloucester with his wife, and they are often visited by their five children, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
